A public policy analyst, EBENEZAR WIKINA, says Rivers State needs a long-term, citizen-driven development plan to ensure continuity in governance and sustainable growth.
In an exclusive interview on Bonny FM’s flagship Let’s Talk programme, he said in many Nigerian states, including Rivers State, frequent changes in government policies have slowed development, likening the situation to leaders laying different foundations for a house without completing the building.
WIKINA is proposing a long-term vision driven by the people of River State, adding that lasting development depends on a clear vision and consistent implementation, not necessarily on how long a political leader remains in office.
