Bonny FM Children’s Quiz 2026: 20 Finalists Set for Grand Finale

All is now set for the 2026 Bonny FM Children’s Quiz for students in upper Primary and junior Secondary school.

A total of 20 finalists qualified for the grand finale after emerging from an initial pool of 60 students drawn from both the primary and secondary categories during the preliminary rounds.

Some of the children who qualified expressed excitement and gratitude after making it through the preliminary stage of the competition.

The pupils, who spoke with our correspondent at the Bonny Consulate Cinema over the weekend, said they remain confident of winning the top prize despite what some described as a shaky start to the contest.

Some parents also expressed happiness over their children’s performance and qualification for the final stage of the competition.

The competition, which will be held at the Bonny Consulate Building from 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, is aimed at promoting academic excellence, critical thinking, and healthy competition among young people in Bonny Kingdom under the theme, ‘Empowering Minds.’

Mouth-watering prizes valued at over two million naira will be won by the students expected to emerge victorious at the end of the contest.
The event will be broadcast live on Bonny FM, Facebook, and other online streaming platforms.
